ISLAND LOCATION
Situated 300 kms south of Manila, Philippines, Boracay Island is the country’s premier beach destination and a top tourism haven. Located at the Northwestern tip of Panay Island, the island has access to the mountains and wildlife reserves of Antique, as well as many historical, natural and ecological attractions. HOW TO GET THERE
Boracay can be reached by sea, land and air. There are many flights to Caticlan Airport, which is 30 minutes away from Boracay and more than 20 minutes from Manila. The airport, too, serves two flights to Cebu and one flight to Angeles City daily. The Caticlan Jetty Port, on the other hand, is accessible with the RoRo (Roll On Roll Off) through the Nautical Highway and with shipping lines. Iloilo, the capital of Region VI, can be reached from Caticlan in 3 hours by highway.
Manila to Caticlan
SEAIR, Cebu Pacific, and Pal Express flies directly to Caticlan. Caticlan to Boracay takes around 30 minutes. Travel time from Manila airport to Boracay takes 90 minutes.
Caticlan to Cebu
SEAIR fly directly to Cebu twice daily. Cebu Pacific flies directly to Cebu once daily. Travel time from Boracay to Cebu is 90 minutes.
Caticlan-Clark
SEAIR flies directly to Clark once daily. Travel time from Boracay to Clark is 90 minutes.
Manila to Kalibo
Philippine Airline, Cebu Pacific, and ZestAir fly to Kalibo Airport daily. Upon landing at the Kalibo Airport, L300 vans or shuttle buses will take you for an exciting 1 1/2 hour trip through the province of Aklan to the Caticlan Jetty Port. A 25-minute ride with a banca or ferry boat will then bring you from the Caticlan Jetty Port to the Cagban Jetty Port in Boracay. From there, there is an estimated 15-minute trip to your destination either through vans or tricycles.
Travel time from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila to Boracay via this travel option is 3 hours.

HOW TO GET AROUND
Boracay has a well-developed local transport system that can help you go from point to point. The main road is a concrete path that spans from the jetty ports to the outlying areas. The island is also filled with friendly and honest tricycle drivers, boat operators and transport providers who can take you to your destination without fuzz!
By tricycle
These motorcycles with side cars are one of the main transport modes on the island. You can hail one on the main road to get to your destination.
By bike
There are several bike options available on the island: pedicabs or bicycles with side cars on the beachfront, mountain bikes, and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) or quadbikes are available for rental usually on a per-hour basis.
By boat
The allure of the island is best experienced through island-hopping activities. You may rent motorized banca or boats and paraw (double outrigger sailboats) in many rental centers in the island.
On foot
Whether in the name of fitness or being one with nature, you can explore Boracay by walking along the beaches and the main access roads.
